Meet Peanut
Peanut, approx DOB 11/17/19, was abandoned when his previous owners moved out of their apartment. Fortunately, he found a feral colony that was being fed to hang out with, but the outside world was no life for him. To make matters worse, he ended up with a horrible ear infection while he was outside which resulted in him becoming mostly deaf. He can sometimes hear really loud noises, but we estimate his hearing loss to be about 80-85%. Additionally, since he was abandoned, he is very slow to warm up to people and trust them, but he absolutely adores other cats and is very dependent on them. For the most part, he does not even want to eat unless he has a friend to keep him company. Peanut will be looking for a quiet home with at least one other very cat-friendly cat to be his BFF. Peanut’s favorite activities are lounging around looking regal, playing with track ball towers, and getting wet food. He really enjoys being petted, but can still be a bit shy to accept the pets until he realizes how awesome they are.
Meet Franklin
I spy with my one little eye: Fargo and Franklin!
These guys were found really young, in a field super sick. Their siblings recovered quickly and found their forever homes, but these 2 took longer, as you can tell from their intake photo, their eyes were a mess. We had to wait until they weighed enough to do their surgeries. They are both super sweet and chill. They do everything normal kittens do, just with one less eye. They don’t have any special needs. They love each other, but do fine with other cats as well. They are looking , with their EYE on the prize of finding their forever home.
Franklin DOB 1/31/24
Playful, sweet, good with other cats
Meet Andy
A Cat Matchers volunteer rescued Andy, DOB 9/17/23, along with his brother Archie when they were sick with an upper respiratory infection and severe conjunctivitis. Unfortunately, Archie’s right eye ruptured and it needed to be removed. He kept a pawsitive attitude, though, and is looking for his forever home. He’s sweet and loves to be held and petted. He doesn’t require any special handling, he acts like a normal cat, he just happens to have one less eye.
